About Cameron
Phillips
Cameron writes - “I moved to Norfolk in 1993. I
spent twenty years in various positions in some
of the most rapidly improving schools in the
region, including five years as Vice Principal of a
school. I now own two local businesses.
I am married, with two children who attend Great
Witchingham Primary and Reepham High schools.
I am a parent Governor of Reepham High School
and I also am training to be a voluntary Red Cross
worker to help vulnerable elderly people. I have
been an active supporter and volunteer for the
Friends of Great Witchingham Primary School (you
may have heard me calling the Bingo at social
events)
I believe strongly in supporting the local community
and working together. I have attended local parish
council meetings in the past have got involved in
local issues such as trying to ensure the local school
got the funds to build a new classroom to cope with
the added numbers in Great Witchingham when
the Hubbard’s Loke development was approved.
There are big challenges facing our area, not least
the potential impact of the NDR. Our area needs a
strong voice at Council meetings, not an empty
chair. I will stand up for residents and our villages
and will not let you down. I hope you will support
me”

Norman Lamb says Steve Riley will be a
“first class MP”
Cameron will work hard for our area
Government Minister Norman Lamb has
strongly endorsed local candidate Steve Riley
to be your new MP. Norman says “As the MP
for the neighbouring constituency of North
Norfolk I have worked closely with Steve on a
number of issues and have seen first-hand just
how incredibly hard he works for people and
communities. “
An empty chair costs £3,426
“Steve Riley has the experience, calibre and
work ethic that a first class MP needs to deliver
for people and our local communities. I have
always been impressed with the way Steve
listens to people before he acts and
understands how to get things done .”
As reported overleaf the sitting Tory Councillor
for Great Witchingham attended just one of the
last ten full Council meetings at Broadland.
However, in the past year he received over
£3000 in Councillor allowances.
Cameron Phillips says “It is totally wrong that
Great Witchingham has been represented by
an empty chair at so many important meetings.
If I am elected I will make sure our area is
properly represented”
“Steve Riley will be a breath of fresh air in
Parliament for Broadland. His integrity,
accountability, and commitment are second to
none .Steve always puts people first before
party politics and I would urge you strongly to
vote for Steve he really will be the first rate MP
that Broadland needs and residents deserve”
