Broward College, Central Campus Dept. of Biological Science and Administration and the Broward College Foundation presents: Broward College’s 4th Annual Summer Internship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Parasitic Diseases and Malaria in Atlanta, GA Broward College will be providing travel, lodging and a modest per diem for meals for up to 2 students. The student will be responsible for registering for the 3 credit internship course (BSC 2949/BSC4948) and any other costs. To be considered for the Internship the student must: o o o o o o o o o Fill out page 2 of this form and use as a cover sheet Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 Have completed BSC 2010 and BSC 2010L with a B or higher Completed or currently enrolled in a 2nd + level majors biology course such as BSC 2011, BOT 2010, MCB 2010, or ZOO 2010 Be a currently enrolled BC student Submit an unofficial BC (and other institution if applicable) transcript with the application Submit a 500 word essay about what career you wish to pursue and how this opportunity will impact you.
