THIS SHOW is affiliated to the BRITISH SHOW PONY SOCIETY (B.S.P.S) and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise
taking part in B.S.P.S classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S are subject to the Constitution and rules of the B.S.P.S including the
disciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S. Owners entering ponies do so entirely at
their own risk and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to the promoters or organisers in any respect whatever.
All classes are confined to mares and geldings 4 years old and over.

POSTAL ENTRIES CLOSE 6 April 2015. Written entries with correct entry fee acceptable only. Cheques must be made payable to
B.S.P.S Area 4A Ltd. Entries on entry forms taken on the day, extra. NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEES. The organisers reserve the right to
cancel or alter any event or split any class without prior notice. The organisers will endeavour to help if classes clash but classes will not be
held up. Any pony taking part in classes judged under B.S.P.S. Rules will be liable to dope testing.
QUALIFICATIONS
1.
This show is a qualifier for THE ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW. Only one pony in each of the three Open Show Pony
OR Nursery Stakes OR Open W.H.P. OR Lead Rein Hunter Type, OR Open S.H.P. Classes, OR Open Intermediate S.R., S.H., and W.H.
OR Mixed Height Pretty Polly Show Pony, Pretty Polly 122cms SHP OR Mixed Height Pretty Polly SHP, Pretty Polly Heritage Small
& Large Breeds, Pretty Polly Lead Rein and First Ridden OR Heritage Lead Rein and First Ridden, Open Heritage Ridden and Anglo &
Part Bred Arab Classes qualifies, and the highest placed (not already qualified) from the first three ponies placed in each class will qualify.
2.
This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S. Blue Riband – SP/WHP/SHP/INT SRT, WH & SH. Owners and riders must be BSPS
members and the pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with Blue Riband qualification.
3.
This Show is a qualifier for the 2015 B.S.P.S. Championships Show, to be held at Arena U.K. The 1st and 2nd prizewinners only in
classes 2-5, 17-20, 23 & 24 and 29-31, and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizewinners in the Open Intermediate S.R.T. (including Mixed height)
W.H. and
S.H.T. and C.S. and Heritage Classes will qualify. In MIXED HEIGHT CLASSES the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed ponies will qualify for the
B.S.P.S. Championships Show, provided the animal is registered in accordance with Rules 23 and 28 and ridden by a BSPS member.

This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Black Country Saddles ‘Best Rider of the Year’. The Best Rider in the Open Lead Rein, Open
First Ridden, 128cms, 138cms and 148cms Show Pony. Open Lead Rein Hunter Type. Open Show Hunter Pony 122cms, 133cms, 143cms
and 153cms. Open Heritage Lead Rein, and Open Heritage First Ridden. Open Heritage Ridden - riders who have not attained their 25th
birthday before 1st January in the current year. Eligible riders must wear armbands. Open Cradle and Nursery Stakes the 133cms, 143cms
and 153cms. WHP Intermediate Show Riding Type, Show Hunter and Working Hunter Classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final
at the BSPS Summer Championships Show (See Rule 455).
5.
Champion of Champions. The Champion in each of the following sections will qualify for the final of the Champion of Champions at
the Summer Championship Show. The Mini Show Pony Champion, Mini WHP, Open Show Pony Champion, Open Show Hunter
Champion and Open Working Hunter Pony Champion.
6.
The first placed ponies from the Heritage Open Classes will qualify for the BSPS WOW FACTOR (“Winner of Winners”) at the BSPS
Summer Championship Show.
7.
Owners and riders must be B.S.P.S. Members and the pony registered with the B.S.P.S. to compete in classes with qualification for
BLUE RIBAND and R.I.H.S. (including Pretty Polly and Heritage qualifying classes). Animals must be registered with the A.H.S. to
compete in the Anglo and Part Bred Arab Classes.
8.
Riders must be 12 years old or over on 1st January in the current year to ride any Stallions not exceeding 138cms, or Small Breed
Mountain & Moorland Stallions, i.e. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh Section A & B.
9.
Riders must be 14 years old or over on 1st January in the current year to ride any Stallions ex. 138cms, or Large Breed Mountain &
Moorland Stallions, i.e. Connemara, Dales, Fells, Highland, New Forest, Welsh Section C & D.
10.
The BSPS Mixed Height Open WHP/Intermediate Working Hunter Mare or Gelding, 4 years or over, not exceeding 158cms. Riders
must jump in their correct height section and be the correct age for the animal they ride. Riders must declare if they are competing in the
153cms or Intermediate Section (Rule 39).
11.
Classes 23 & 24 are a qualifier for the B.S.P.S. Premier League. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizewinners to qualify.
12.
This show is a qualifier for the BSPS “Classic Security (UK) Ltd” Challenge.

From the M6
Leave the M6 at junction 12 and join the A5 Westbound towards Telford. Take the third exit off
the roundabout onto the A449 (Stafford & Penkridge). Rodbaston Campus is approximately
1/2 mile on the right.
From Telford
Follow the A5 towards Cannock. At the junction with the A449 take the first exit at the
roundabout. Rodbaston Campus is approximately 1/2 mile on the right.
