SCHOOL UNIFORM GIRLS All girls, Years 7 – 11 should dress within the following guidelines: SKIRT: Tailored plain navy skirt stitched down with 3” pleat and waistband. TROUSERS Plain tailored black trousers, not containing lycra. BLOUSE Blue with open V - neck, not a shirt so no top button. JUMPER Light blue V – necked. SOCKS White or navy socks (in Year 7 and 8 only) or skin coloured or plain black tights. Patterned tights are not allowed. Socks/tights are part of the uniform and must be worn at all times. SHOES Plain black – no high heels or boots, no gold or silver embellishments BLAZER Navy with school badge and house group. Make – up, nail varnish and tanning products are not allowed and pupils will be told to remove them. Acrylic or gel nails are not allowed for health and safety reasons. Jewellery is not allowed, except for a wrist watch, and pupils will be told to remove it. This could lead to confiscation. Body piercing is not allowed. Haircuts should be sensible, there should be no extreme haircuts or colour. Scarves and outside coats must not be worn in the building. BOYS All boys in Years 7, 8 and 9 should dress within the following guidelines: TROUSERS Plain tailored black or dark grey trousers SHIRT White or grey SHOES Plain black, smart business like that can be polished and should not carry any visible logo or any additional colour. SOCKS Black BLAZER Navy with school badge and house group. TIE JUMPER Available from school office. Grey V – necked Year 10 and 11 as above, but they have permission to wear blue shirts if desired. Haircuts should be sensible, no extreme haircuts or colour. Trainers may only be worn for PE not in class, or break times or to and from school.
