INTRODUCTION
Pattern drawing has gained a lot of popularity in recent years, especially with
the advent of Zentangle®, and many people have been creating and sharing
patterns and tangles (Zentangle patterns) online.
In October 2010, I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher. Then in December
2010, I started compiling a weekly list of links to interesting articles, and links
to new tangles or patterns, and publishing it on my blog as the Weekly
Roundup.
In this ebook, I have compiled the pattern links from the first three years of
the Roundup in this eBook. The book doesn't contain the tangles themselves,
just web links to them. All the names are clickable and should take you to the
web page where the pattern was published.
The patterns are listed in alphabetical order by tangle name. Tangles that
come from Zentangle are in bold text. If you're looking for patterns from a
particular person, you can use the search function in your PDF reader to find
them. All the patterns listed here are freely available on the Internet. If you
want even more patterns, there are a lot of great books and eBooks avaiable.
This book contains all the links I posted in the Weekly Roundup from when I
started in December 2010, to December 2013. I plan to publish a new version
in January 2015 in which I will add all the links for 2014. Then, I hope to
publish a new version every year as long as I continue the Roundup.
SAMPLE INFO
This sample contains the first two pages of links.
The actual book contains 63 pages and over 2,000 patterns.

TERMINOLOGY
There are several methods of drawing with structured patterns, and Zentangle
is one of them. In Zentangle, patterns are called tangles. Tangles are always
abstract patterns.
In this collection of patterns, some can be considered tangles, some not, but
the difference is not clearcut, so I have refrained from labelling the patterns.
FEEDBACK
I hope to make various improvements to the next version. For example, would
it be useful for tangles to be listed by the name of the creator? Also, all the
tangles added in version 2 will be flagged so you know which ones are new.
I welcome you suggestions; email me at [email protected].
The Internet is ever changing. Even though I checked all the links just before
publication, you may encounter some links that don't work anymore. If you do,
please let me know so I can either remove the link in the next version, or try
to find whether the pattern has been moved.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I want to thank all the people out there who create patterns and make them
available for all of us to collect and use in our artwork.
