SERBIAN SISTERS’ LIKA Garden in
Ironton has many memorials to the
first immigrants who settled in the
Crosby-Ironton area. Blaz and Anka
Tomljanovich were among the immigrants. Like most people at the time,
they had a yard with a garden and
fruit trees. The Tomljanovichs had a
lovely and productive grape arbor at
their home on First Street. In honor-
ing their parents, their children, who
are members of Serbian Sisters,
sponsored the arbor at Lika Garden.
This beautiful memorial sign was
designed and painted by Jerry
(Fergie) Ferguson who is a member
of Serbian Sisters, as is his wife,
Micki Ronich. Photo submitted by
Andrea Lee Lambrecht.
