CROSBY-IRONTON COURIER Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 Chamber Annual Meeting, Business After Hours Tuesday The Cuyuna Lakes Chamber is combining its Annual Meeting with the November Business After Hours on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at the C-I Pub and Pine Room in Ironton from 5 to 7 p.m. Election of four board members will be held. The terms are three years and run from January 2015 until December 2017. The second half of agricultural and mobile home taxes being taxed as personal property are due Nov. 15. As the 15 is on a Saturday, payment will be accepted Monday, Nov. 17 without penalty. Join friends and neighbors at the Crosby Memorial Park on Serpent Lake for a magical evening including a live nativity, horse-drawn sleigh rides and live entertainment. Santa will be on hand so bring your cameras and have your wish lists ready! Bonfires will be available to help keep you warm. This event is organized by the chamber at no cost to those attending. We are still in need of both volunteers and donations and will need help putting up the decorations at that park to make the park magical. Many hearts and hands are needed to create a celebration of this size. There are many volunteer and sponsorship opportunities available. The Crosby Fire Department’s annual turkey bingo will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Crosby Fire Hall. Raffle tickets are $1 donaiton and can be purchased at the event from any auxiliary member or fire department member. Prizes are: grand prize, $500 JJ’s Guns Gift Certificate (for the gun of choice); second prize, $250; and third prize, three large oven-ready turkeys.
