The presenters will review OSHA’s long term care focus areas and explain how to comply with the most common violations that are cited and penalized during OSHA inspections at nursing homes. OSHA’s recordkeeping rule, temporary worker initiative and updates on proposed rule changes will also be on the agenda. BRIAN OBERBECK, MS, BS, is a Compliance Officer for OSHA at the Denver Area Office and has worked for the agency for twelve years. He has a Mas¬ter’s Degree in Environmental Health (Industrial Hygiene) from Colorado State University, and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. LISA BENNETT, MS, BS, is a Compliance Officer for OSHA and has worked for the agency for seven years.
