Acknowledgement of Covington Food Bank Volunteer Policies and Procedures
I,________________________________________________________, have read through
the policy and procedure manual for being a Covington Food Bank Volunteer and do hereby
agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth. I further understand that a copy of this
manual is posted at each volunteer sign in station and it is my responsibility to update myself
on changes made to the manual.
I agree to notify the department in which I volunteer in of any changes to my personal
information and of absences.
I understand that closures and updates are posted to Covington Food Bank’s Facebook page
and I should check Facebook for notices regarding closures, emergencies, or any other
unforeseen circumstances that might cause CFB to close.
Due to the sensitivity of the data collected from participants, donors, staff and volunteers of
CFB, including the Thrift Store and Dental Clinic, all information is considered confidential and
should be treated as such. Discretion and audio privacy is required when discussing sensitive
information while volunteering. Additionally sensitive information concerning participants,
donors, staff and volunteers should not be discussed with anyone outside of CFB.
I understand I must sign in and out at the start and end of each shift as well as wear my name
tag visibly at all times I am volunteering.
