On Saturday 14th
February, AVJennings
together with Hot FM and
Partner Builders, Coast
Life Homes & Integrale
Homes held a family fun
day at Creekwood Park.
The event was to
celebrate the opening of
two new homes in the
Display Village at
Creekwood.
What a hit! The kids
enjoyed playing games
with the radio hosts,
playing on the bouncy
castle, and face painting.
The biggest attraction,
with constant queues was
the rock-climbing wall!
Hot FM gave out sausage in break, drinks and
freebies.
Our friends Sam and Edmo
the breakfast radio hosts
over at Hot 91 FM have
been breaking a sweat.
With the help of former
Olympic Champion,
Raelene Boyle, now a
patron for Bloomhill
Cancer Help, they
managed to raise $8000
by losing 15.8 kilos.
Among ’good old
fashioned exercise’ Sam
and Edmo experienced
compression technology,
Stand Up Paddle boarding,
Bikram Yoga and many
other challenges to shed
weight.
All the money raised is
going to this awesome
charity. You go team!

Calling all Creekwood Residents! AVJennings
extends an invitation to all aspiring gardeners or
residents gardeners. Be part of something exciting
in Creekwood, rolling out in the coming months.
The backyard of the AVJennings Sales Centre is
soon to become a Community Garden for
Creekwood residents. This will be a fun way to get
to know residents in Creekwood who have a
common interest in gardening.
To make it happen we need to form a group to
design and manage the Community Garden.
Members will be able to contribute ideas on how
to best commence and maintain the community
garden.

On the 24th March
students from
neighbouring Meridan
College held a bake sale
to raise money for a local
organization, SCARS aka
Sippy Creek Animal
Refuge.
Student leaders from
Junior and Senior College
promoted awareness for
the plight of local animals
in need of the great work
this organization does for
our local community.
The students had a
wonderful time and
raised $1,126.30 overall.
SCARS are extremely
happy with the outcome
and welcome the much
needed money for their
organization.
