Afternoon Yoga
Mammal Track Excursion

Break up your day of intensive intellectual inquiry by
challenging the body and calming the mind during an
afternoon yoga session. Open to guests.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 8:00-10:30am
Millions of years of Earth’s history are captured in the canyons
and mesas of Gateway. On this excursion, we will explore
evidence of the ancient environments on preserved track sites,
investigate how the Uncompahgre Plateau has evolved, and
identify what types of life have thrived over the millennia.

Archery
Tuesday & Wednesday | 3:00-5:00pm
Learn about the mechanics of archery and test out your
accuracy in this fun activity led by Gateway Canyons’
Adventure Center. guests.
Astronomy Night
Sunday – Wednesday | 9:00-10:00pm
There are few sights more inspiring and humbling than
a night sky entirely free of smog or light pollution;
experience it in the company of expert astronomers.

Auto Museum Cocktails, Tour & Dinner
Tuesday | 6:30-9:00pm
Spanning every era of the industry, the Gateway Canyons
Auto Museum is a treasure that every visitor should
experience. There will be one dinner hosted at the
museum during each retreat, yet every participant will
have a complimentary pass to visit the museum as often
as they desire during thier stay. Open to guests.

Stables Steak Ride
Tuesday | 5:30-9:00pm
Spend an unforgettable evening on a horseback trail ride
through the rugged canyon walls, winding your way to
the rustic Pavilion for a glorious western steak dinner. You’ll
be greeted at the beautiful Gateway Canyons Stables by
authentic cowboys and gals who will match your specific riding
experience and skill level to the best horse available.

Tesla Experience
Monday | 3:00-6:00 PM
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 7:00-10:30am & 3:00-6:00pm
Tesla Motors will develop a special display and driving
experience for the 2015 participants attending Curiosity
Retreats. Given that the retreats are located in one of North
America’s most spectacular driving locations, the Tesla
Experience should not be missed. Open to guests.
Wine Tasting with Jay Fletcher
Wednesday & Thursday | 6:00-7:00pm
Join us in a sensory examination and evaluation of wine with
Master Sommelier, Jay Fletcher.
