Nishimatsu Construction Company wishes to sell the Movable Scaffolding System (MSS) used on the Industrial Ring Road Project in Bangkok Thailand. Salient Features of the System The MSS is capable of casting variable span lengths of from 40 m to 67.5 m (~70m) spans (pier distance) of Bridge superstructure with width up to 30.5 m and web height of structure 2.5 to 3.5 m. Total weight of the system is about 1780 tons. The MSS can be adapted for different type of bridge superstructures. The system is simple with few internal moveable parts and components, giving uncomplicated operation with substantial reduction in span casting time. The equipment is extremely suitable for bridges in the city (for traffic considerations), or for the long spans or for the bridges above mushy land, where the ground can not be used for support of formwork.
