Need a little help with a class or maybe a lot of help? FREE tutoring is available through the Student Services
Center! Don’t wait until you are lost in a class, make an appointment today. You can schedule up to 3 hours
per week, per class. Some tutors are even available on the weekends! All ACC tutors have at least a 3.0
cumulative GPA and at least a B in the class they are tutoring. The Student Services Center is here to help
you, all you have to do is ask. Call 989-358-7270 or visit us in Van Lare Hall 101.

 Interacting with the World: Social Media Etiquette – Wednesday, April 15th, 1pm & Thursday, April 16th, 2pm
Our phone used to be chained to the wall, now we can communicate anywhere by Facebook, Twitter,
YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Myspace. It’s fun and easy and you can reach many people with one
text message. Do you know how it can affect your future? Find out who’s tracking you and what you
should and shouldn’t be doing with social media.
Workshops at the HUSH Campus Wednesdays at 1pm and Thursdays at 2pm in HUSH 203. One more this
semester – Interacting with the World: Social Media Etiquette.
TRiO SSS Tutoring Blitz FINALS are approaching quickly! TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) will be hosting its
semiannual Tutoring Blitz to give you that last minute push to help prepare you. The Tutoring Blitz will be held
in the Student Service’s Center on Friday, May 1st from 2:00-5:00pm. There are several great reasons to
participate in the Tutoring Blitz: 1-The hour(s) of tutoring you get through the Blitz do not count against your
normal tutoring hours, 2-It’s only available to TRiO SSS students, 3-It’s on Friday afternoon which allows you to
get your last minute questions answered so you can prepare on your own over the weekend, 4-We make it
fun! and 5-There’s FREE food! Advanced sign up is required for this event because arrangements need to be
made with tutors. If you are interested in participating, stop by CTR 108 no later than Wednesday April 29th
to sign up.

Mid Michigan Community College Radiography Program The transfer representative will be on campus to
meet with interested students and staff on Tuesday, April 21st, 2–3:30pm in VLH 114. Attending a
radiography/MRI informational session is one of the requirements of the application process. For more

HUSH Testing, Computer Lab, and Student Services Center Please schedule testing appointments as hours
occasionally change and there are limited computers available. Picture ID is required, no cell phones or

It's Never Too Late You can make your athletic debut at any age. Make a commitment to yourself – train to
participate in an upcoming fitness event. Get a fitness friend, get a plan, get over to the Wellness Center
and get going! The Fredrick T Johnston Wellness Center is open Monday–Thursday 6:30am–7pm; Friday
6:30am–2pm; Saturday 8am–1pm.
Bookstore News this Week
 Caps, gowns and announcements will be available in the Bookstore through May 7.
 Meal cards for the Lumberjack Shack are available for $25. Redeem the completed card for a free
beverage.
 Cold & flu season – you’ll find all the necessities at the Bookstore: Tissue, aspirin, cough drops, lotions and
lip balm.
 The next book buy-back will be the week of May 4 (finals week).

Testing Center is located in VLH 122. All students must provide a photo ID prior to testing. Anticipate your
needs and allow enough time for testing. Making an appointment will ensure you have a spot reserved to
take your test. Hours are subject to change, please call ahead to make an appointment whenever possible.
