NOTICE OF BOND ELECTION
TO THE DULY QUALIFIED RESIDENT VOTERS OF
DOV/DELL PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT:
Notice is hereby given that a bond election will be held for and within Dowdell Public
Utility District pursuant tó an order of the Board of Directors of said District passed on February
Ig,Z0l5. Saiá order is on file at272l Allen Parkway, Suite 1100, Houston, Harris County,
Texas, where any interested pèrson may refer to it for all purposes.
Said election will be held between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on May 9, 2015 at
Schultz Elementary School, 7920 WlIlow Forest Drive, Tomball, Texas, within the District, and
shall conform to the requirements of Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas Water Code and the
Election Code of the State of Texas, so far as applicable'

Any duly qualified resident elector of the District may vote at the election.

The entire District shall constitute one election precinct for purposes of this
election.

The officials for said election are as follows:

Early voting will be conducted at the Willow forest Clubhouse, 8410 Creek
Willow Drive, Tomball, Harris County, Texas 77375, which for purposes of this election is

declared to be a public place within the District. The early voting clerk shall keep said
open for early voiing by personal appearance which is not a Saturday, a Sunday' or an official
Uegintrlng on the tweffiñ day between the hours of 8:00 a'm. and 4:00 p'm. on each
sàte holiday,

An accessible voting system shall be present in each polling place. Ballots, voting

be hereafter annexed into the District, for the purposes of purchasing, constructing, acquiring,
owning, operating, repairing, improving and extending a water and sanitary sewer system, a
surface water system, and sewage disposal facilities for the District and a drainage system for the
drainage of lands within the District, and for paying fees or charges to any regional water
authority or similar entity for charges or contributions lawfully levied on the District, and for the
further purpose of refunding, by any mealls now or hereafter authorized by law, all or any porlion
of any bonds or refunding bonds of the District payable in whole or in paft from taxes authorized
hereunder, and to provide for the paynent of principal of and interest on such bonds by the levy
and collection of a sufficient ad valorem tax upon all taxable property within the District, all as
authorized by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas?

The maximum amount of bonds to be voted in said bond election and the
maximum maturity date on said bonds shall be as set forlh in the proposition in Paragraph (7)
above.
(10) The bonds are to be sold at any price or prices and to bear interest at a rate not to
exceed two percent (2%) above the highest average interest rate repofted by the Daily Bond
Buyer in its weekly "20 Bond Index" during the one-month period next preceding the date notice
of the sale of the bonds is given.
(11) As of the fiscal year beginning October 1,2014, the aggregate principal amount
of the outstanding principal of the District's debt obligations which are secured by ad valorem
taxes is $17,850,000.
(12) As of the fiscal year beginning October I, 2014, the aggregate amount of the
outstanding interest of the District's debt obligations which are secured by ad valorem taxes was
$5,855,826.

The District's ad valorem debt service tax rate for the 2013-2014 fiscal year is
$0.92 per $i00 of taxable assessed valuation.

sistema de agua y de alcantarillado sanitario, un sistema de agua de superficie e instalaciones de
alcantarillado de desecho para el Distrito y un sistema de drenaje para el drenaje de los terrenos
dentro del Distrito, y para pagar las cuotas o los cargos a cualquier autoridad regional de
distribución de agua o entidad similar para cargos o contribuciones impuestos legalmente en el
Distrito, y con el propósito adicional de reembolsar, por algún medio autorizado ahora o más
adelante por la ley, todos o alguna parte de los bonos o bonos de reembolso del Distrito, pagaderos
en totalidad o en parte aparlir de impuestos autorizados en 1o sucesivo, y paraproporcionar el pago
del capital e interés de dichos bonos mediante la imposición y recaudación de un impuesto ad
valorem suficiente sobre toda propiedad gravable dentro del Distrito, todo esto según lo autorizado
por la Constitución y las leyes del Estado de Texas?
