The first version of the mobile application Nice Airport, which has been running for five years and has been downloaded almost 115,000 times, is now giving way to a completely redesigned application to help passengers throughout their trip, before, during and after passing through the airport. The user-friendly browsing, simplified and pleasant design of the new version of the application, which is available on Android and iPhone, in French and in English, enables users to make the most its useful, practical and innovative features. Just like its campaign promise, Travelling becomes child’s play at the Nice platform! The Flight Info section now includes live flight information, which is an invaluable feature enabling passengers and people accompanying them to and from the airport to receive real time flight status updates on arrivals and departures (boarding in progress, expected arrivals, delayed or cancelled flights, etc.). The Directions and Maps section provides enhanced direction information to passengers. Google Maps simplifies travelling to the airport where passengers can use geolocation to find their way around the terminals via Indoor Google Maps. The Parking section is one of the main features of the application. Passengers can find their parking space by clicking on “real time availability” and also book a parking space on Click&Park, whilst saving this parking space via the “find your parking space” option available on the applicable once they’ve arrived at their destination! The What’s New section presents the newest features at the airport. An update notification system has also been developed in the event of a crisis situation (strike, bad weather, etc.) to keep users informed in real time. In the Shopping and Restaurants section, mobile Internet users can discover the shops at the airport to find the products and services they need... or want! Opening times, access maps, promotions, contact details: the application provides a selection of practical and useful information. The Don’t Miss section provides details on new features, exclusive and promotional deals offered by the shops, restaurants and brands at the airport! Snap Catch, all the latest news on the application, enables users to discover the enriched content of the Grand Sud magazine published by Nice Côte d’Azur Airport It’s so simple: you just need to go to the Snap Catch section on the application and click on the articles shown by icons with captions in order to view the enriched content on your mobile device: price comparator, click&collect, flight bookings, video, links to other websites, etc. “Mobile Internet users’ requirements have completely changed since the first version launched in 2010.
