National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony March 26, 2015 Ephrata Middle School is proud to announce this year’s newest National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Inductees. On Thursday, March 26th, 50 new 7th and 8th grade students were recognized in a formal induction ceremony in the Ephrata Middle School gym. The ceremony included a public recognition of the student’s achievements in scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship. The first qualification for admittance to the Ephrata Chapter of NJHS was to maintain a 3.5 GPA for at least two consecutive quarters. Next the candidates were examined by the EMS Faculty Council in respect to the other traits listed above. Congratulations to these emerging scholars and leaders.
