Manager, Hawiyah Gas Plant Department, Saudi Aramco – Saudi Arabia
Currently the Manager of Hawiyah Gas Plant (HGP) that is located 250Km South of
Dhahran and the first built by Saudi Aramco in 2001 to process none associated gas.
Executive committee member, representing Saudi Aramco, at the Gas Processing
Association - Gulf Countries Chapter (GPA-GCC).
Have more than 23 years of experience with Saudi Aramco in Engineering, Construction
and Management of oil and gas processing facilities. Assumed the Manager of Haradh
Gas Plant during 2013 - 2014. Established Gas Operations Technical Support Division in
2010 and continued heading it until end of 2012. Covered as Operations and Maintenance
Superintendent at Shedgum Gas Plant during 2008 - 2010. Joined HGP design team in
Houston/Texas in 2000 as Project Engineer with Aramco Services Co and continued with
the project through out the design, construction and commissioning stages.
Spent the first 10 years in Engineering and Maintenance of Gas Oil Separation Plants
(GOSPs) at Abqaiq. Assigned as Operations Representative for the modernization of the
GOSPs process control system projects.
Had a good share on leadership training programs. Attended in 2010 The International
Executive Program at INSEAD Business School in France. Attended in 2008 The Asia
Business & Culture Program that was organized by Aperian Global USA in South Korea,
China and Japan. Attended in 2007 Achieving Strategic Agility Program at London
Business School. Attended in 2006 Business Acumen Program that was organized by The
Learning Partnership USA in Bahrain.
Hold Master Degree in Construction Engineering and Management from King Fahad
University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in 2002. Hold Bachelor Degree in
Electrical Engineering from KFUPM in 1993.
