All: May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that
his ways may be known on earth, his salvation among all nations.
Leader: May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for he rules the peoples justly and
guides the nations of the earth.
All: May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.
* Hymn of praise
“From All That Dwell Below the Skies”
From all that dwell below the skies let the Creator’s praise arise;
let the Redeemer’s name be sung through every land, by every tongue.
In every land begin the song; to every land the strains belong.
In cheerful sound all voices raise and fill the world with joyful praise.
BUDGET AND STEWARDSHIP UPDATE
We have only 10 days left to reach our goal of 85% of the 2015 budget pledged ($3.6
million of $4.24 million) by the end of the first quarter. We are currently at 74.8% (almost
$3.2 million) and for this we give thanks. If you have not yet turned in your 2015 giving
plan, will you prayerfully complete it at lmpc.org/giving-2015? You can also contact
Bruce Cory at the church office or by email at [email protected].
Eternal are your mercies, Lord; eternal truth attends your word.
Your praise shall sound from shore to shore till suns shall rise and set no more.

James 1:22-25
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone
who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in
a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks
like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and
continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed
in what he does.
Silent prayers of confession
Assurance of God’s pardoning grace
* Scripture reading from Acts 16:11-40
taken from 2 Corinthians 5 and Zephaniah 3
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the
righteousness of God. Sing, O Daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and
rejoice with all your heart, O Daughter of Jerusalem! The LORD has taken away our
punishment. The LORD our God is with us, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight
in us, he will quiet us with his love, he will rejoice over us with singing.”
* Hymn of assurance
“O The Deep, Deep Love of Jesus”
O the deep, deep love of Jesus! Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free;
rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me.
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of thy love;
leading onward, leading homeward, to thy glorious rest above.
This is the Word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God.

Sermon
Hymn of response
O the deep, deep love of Jesus! Spread his praise from shore to shore;
how he loveth, ever loveth, changeth never, never more;
how he watches o’er his loved ones, died to call them all his own;
how for them he intercedeth, watcheth o’er them from the throne.
