From the Eagle’s Nest The Alaiedon PTO Newsletter PTO Meeting Notes Greetings Alaiedon Parents! New Meeting Dates We have made some adjustments to the PTO meeting schedule. The new meeting dates are as follows: Monday March 9th Monday April 20th Monday May 18th PTO Officer Elections The PTO is looking to fill officer positions for Vice President and Treasurer! The PTO is seeking nominations for each of these positions by April 17th. A slate will be presented at the April 20th PTO meeting. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the April meeting. A ballot vote will take place at the May 18th meeting. All parents/guardians are encouraged to attend! SCIENCEPALOOZA MARK YOUR CALENDAR - The PTO and Michigan Science Center are bringing SciencePalooza to Alaiedon on April 17th from 5:30-8:30 PM. This is a dynamic hands-on learning experience that promotes discovery of various science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts. This program includes 10 hands-on activity stations that participants will rotate through to discover the most fundamental and exciting principles in science. Families can feel free to come and go as they please during this Free Family Event. We hope to see you there! Volunteers will be needed for this event!! Box Tops & Soup Labels Please label all Box Tops and Soup Labels for Education with your child’s name and teacher’s name, so that your child will qualify for contests.
