Wide range of treatment programs
Lakeside has been the premier behavioral health
resource in the Mid-South for more than 30 years.
In the system are seven inpatient programs, three
partial hospitalization programs and four intensive
outpatient programs. Lakeside also provides triage
and consultation services to hospitals and senior living
facilities in the Mid-South area.
1. Call Lakeside 24 hours a day, seven days a week for a
confidential, no cost assessment.
Programs include treatment for addiction, detoxification, rehabilitation,
anxiety, trauma resolution, bipolar disorder, suicide intervention and
geriatric issues. A wide range of treatment options is available for
children, adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors.
Services on four levels
Services include four levels of care: acute inpatient treatment, extendedstay residential treatment, partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient
programs.
Serene Setting
Lakeside is a 305-bed center located on a private, 37-acre campus tucked
away in northeast Shelby County. Treatment is provided in six separate
buildings on the main campus.
Accredited, certified and licensed
Lakeside is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations, certified for Medicare and Medicaid services
and licensed by the State of Tennessee Departments of Health and
Mental Health.
2. A master’s-level counselor will discuss treatment options
and next steps.
3. If a Lakeside program is selected, every effort is made to
accommodate patient needs and family realities with day
and evening programs and different levels of treatment.
4. Lakeside accepts most private and commercial insurance
plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Payment
arrangements can be made.

No patient will be denied admission on the basis of race, creed, sex, national origin, religious beliefs, handicap, age, or the ability to pay, provided that
admission criteria for the appropriate treatment programs are satisfied.
Outpatient
focuses on dual diagnosis and
addictive disorders. Lakeside can
also provide medically supervised
detox services for those seeking
recovery from prescription drug
addiction, drug addiction and
alcohol abuse.
Treatment for
Adults with
Addiction Issues
O
nly Lakeside offers a
daily, intensive outpatient
program for adult men and
women who have addiction issues.
Evening intensive outpatient care
also is available, as well as partial
hospitalization.
The program is designed to treat the entire
person, not just address the habitual behavior
and symptoms of prolonged substance abuse.
We help men and women recover from lifedestroying addictions by addressing the
underlying causes that contribute to the
addiction.
Lakeside also has a successful history
of working with impaired professionals
struggling with addiction diseases.
If more than outpatient treatment is necessary,
Lakeside’s residential program is also available
for those who need a 28-day program that

Lakeside is staffed with a team of
professionals who are experienced
in dealing with dual diagnosis and
addiction recovery. We believe that
effective treatment requires that one’s
psychological, physical, social and spiritual
lives all be addressed in a wide variety of
therapeutic techniques.
Each participant can expect a personalized,
individual treatment plan and to be treated
with dignity, respect, compassion and
confidentiality.
