In addition, projects involving a subsidy of Rs.149.65 crores are lying pending
for want of funds (267 projects under commercial horticulture Scheme & 56
projects under Cold Storage Scheme and projects approved at various NHB.
Further, under Scheme-1, 2560 LOI are lying in hand which are yet to be
sanctioned , apart from valid LOIs (7422) already sanctioned and similarly
under cold storage scheme, 43 LOI are in hand.

Pattern of Assistance
Credit linked back-ended subsidy @ 35% of the
total project cost limited to Rs 50.75 lakh per
project.



Pattern of Assistance
(i) Capacity should be more than 5000 MT.
(ii) Cold Storage should be multi chamber/multi
product
The assistance of subsidy is @ 35% of the capital cost
of project

SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON PROMOTION OF
FARM MACHANIZATION IN HORTICULTURE
Objectives:
 To reduce labour cost in Horticulture
sector and
 To increase the productivity of Horticulture
crops.

total project cost limited to Rs 30.00 lacs per
project.

 Grant-in-aid

Introduction of New Technologies and also to
provide the services to the farmers on no profit no
loss basis.
