Maximum utilization of inputs like fertilizer, manure and water etc. Harvesting/picking of fruits become easier. Requirement of proper pruning & canopy management. 6 HIGH DENSITY PLANTATION OF MANGO IN SANGLI (MS) 7 HIGH DENSITY APPLE CULTIVATION (J&K) 8 PLANTATION OF DATE PALM IN KUTCH (GUJARAT) 9 1.(B) CULTIVATION IN PROTECTED CONDITION (POLYHOUSE) Promotion of commercial horticulture projects under protected cover on project mode for projects having area over 2500 sq meter. Pattern of Assistance Credit linked back-ended subsidy @ 50% of the total project cost limited to Rs 56.00 lakh per project. 10 CULTIVATION OF TOMATO & CUCUMBER IN POLY HOUSE CUCUMBER TOMATO 11 1. (C) INTEGRATED POST HARVEST MANAGEMENT & PRIMARY PROCESSING Promotion of Integrated Post Harvest Management projects relating to Pack House, Ripening Chamber, Refer Van, Retail Outlets, Pre- cooling unit, Primary processing etc. Pattern of Assistance Credit linked back-ended subsidy @ 35% of the total project cost limited to Rs 50.75 lakh per project. 12 GRADING PACKING LINE FOR APPLES 13 AUTOMATION IN CASHEW PROCESSING 14 2. COLD STORAGE SCHEME Credit linked projects relating to Cold Storages including Controlled Atmosphere (CA) and their modernization. Pattern of Assistance (i) Capacity should be more than 5000 MT. (ii) Cold Storage should be multi chamber/multi product The assistance of subsidy is @ 35% of the capital cost of project 15 SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON PROMOTION OF FARM MACHANIZATION IN HORTICULTURE Objectives: To reduce labour cost in Horticulture sector and To increase the productivity of Horticulture crops. 16 FINANCIAL SUPPORT BY NHB Under Scheme No. 01 Credit linked back-ended subsidy @ 40% of the total project cost limited to Rs 30.00 lacs per project. Under Scheme No. 03 Grant-in-aid (100%) to the Public Sector Organizations for demonstration under Introduction of New Technologies and also to provide the services to the farmers on no profit no loss basis. 17 SECURING AVAILABILITY OF QUALITY PLANTING MATERIAL Following three major initiatives Establishment of mother blocks of High pedigree - Applicant – SAU, ICAR & Public Sector etc. Import of planting material - Applicant – Govt.
