NEEDHAM HIGH SCHOOL PARENT-TEACHER COUNCIL
CONTRACT AND SHOW RULES: NHS PTC CRAFT FAIR
1. For jurying purposes each exhibitor must submit three pictures representative of
his/her work and two photographs of the display. Exhibitors will be expected to
display and sell work of the same quality and nature as that submitted for
jurying. No additional material should be added without prior approval from the
jury committee.
2. Exhibitors are required to arrive during the set-up times (7 – 9 a.m.) and have
their displays complete, attended and open to the public the entire duration of the
fair. The Exhibitor may not take down his/her display or work before closing
time of the Fair.
3. Displays must be neat and clean. Tables must be covered to the floor on all
sides. Overstock must be kept out of sight. We reserve the right to make space
selections as needed to present a visibly attractive fair. Display areas will have
approximately a 10’ frontage by 8’ in depth. No tent tops. We do not provide
tables or chairs.
4. Exhibitor agrees and covenants at all times not to injure, overload, deface or
otherwise harm the premises or any part thereof or equipment therein which is
improper, offensive or contrary to reasonable acts, not to use any advertising
medium that may constitute a nuisance such as loudspeakers, sound amplifiers, or
phonographs; nor to use in any way the driveways, walks, parking area or
common areas for any uses other than those designated.
5. The Exhibitor shall assume all risks to the exhibitor’s merchandise or property
including but not limited to risk of damage or loss of whatever kind or nature
either directly or indirectly to the exhibitor’s merchandise or property or arising as
a result of damage or loss to the exhibitor’s merchandise or property. The
Exhibitor shall not make any claim for such damage or loss against the Needham
High School PTC or Needham High School. No refunds issued after
acceptance.
6. Neither Needham High School nor the NHS PTC shall be liable to any person or
organization, company or other entity for any loss, damage or injury or injurious
effects to persons or property of whatever kind or nature: (a) caused by neglect or
other acts or failure to act on the part of the exhibitor, his or her agents, servants
or employees, or (b) caused by products or items sold or exhibited by exhibitors
directly or through warranty whether express or implied, either written or oral.
7. Exhibitors must furnish their own display in its entirety. The display should
reflect and enhance the quality of the work.
8. NHS PTC will attempt to provide a porter service at 7:00 a.m. and 4 p.m.
9. I have read, understood and agree to comply with the above rules.
