NORTH MORLEY NEWS
Dear Parents
I hope you all had a relaxing long
weekend. I am sure some of you
managed to attend an ANZAC
service in the community.
Thank you to Ms Reid, Mr Keady
and the student councillors for a
beautiful ANZAC service at school
last Friday. The choir members
should be very proud of their
performance as well.
Thank you also to Mr Farrell who
has started before school training
for all students. This will be held
on Tuesday and Friday of each
week and students will be
running/walking laps of the oval.
Training will begin shortly for the
Football and Netball season. The
games will begin in a few weeks.
Year 6 students please ensure
you are wearing joggers for these
sessions.

P&C MEETING TONIGHT
Our first P&C meeting for Term 2 will be held in the staffroom
tonight at 7:30pm. Attending meetings is a great way to find
out what’s happening around the school and to have a say in
fundraising ideas. Everyone is welcome to attend.
LAPATHON
A huge thank you to everyone who raised money for our Lapathon last term. We raised $3087.55
towards our goal of a classroom set of iPads. That brings us to a total of $4847.55 raised in the first
term. What a fantastic effort!
MOTHER’S DAY STALL
Our Mother’s Day Stall is next Wednesday May 6th. We are still seeking small gift
donations to sell on the day. Gifts will be priced between .50c and $5.00. Each class has
been given a suggested theme which is posted in each classroom along with a donation
collection box. We are seeking volunteers to help run the stall on the day. Please pop
into the office if you are able to volunteer some of your time.
