Hingham Fitness features top quality commercial-grade aerobic and weight training equipment in a 2,000 sq. ft. fitness room.
The aerobic equipment includes treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and stair masters. The Fitness Room features a variety of weight training equipment
including dumbbells and more than a dozen weight bearing strength machines. Certified Personal Trainers are available for a fee of $50/hour.

SPINNING is an aerobic exercise using a specially designed stationary bicycle allowing each rider to control the
tension and speed. As you pedal, the instructor guides you through a series of hills, sprints and jumps. Spinning burns
serious calories (about 500 in 45 minutes)! This awesome aerobic workout makes your heart pump fast and tones your
quads, outer thigh muscles, abs, buttocks and arms like nobody’sbusiness! And although you follow the general
instructions of the Spinning teacher, you are always in control. You can finish a Spin class, regardless of your fitness
level, simply by adjusting your pace or the tension knob on the bike.

BARRE BLAST • Barre Blast will help flatten abs, tone thighs and lift seats, improve flexibility, sculpt your body and
leave you long and lean. Each class follows a 60-minute format: warm-up and upper body conditioning; thigh and glute
work using a ballet barre; core conditioning and abdominals; stretching and relaxation. Instructor: Tory Dolan

ZUMBA • There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often
building a deep-rooted community among returning students. When participants see a Zumba class in action, they
can't wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before

HATHA YOGA • Hatha Yoga is the foundation of all
yoga. In this all-level yoga class you will move through an
eclectic sequence of postures building core strength,
flexibility, balance and breath. You will leave feeling relaxed,

YOGA INTRO SERIES • Curious about yoga but don’t
know where to start, or perhaps, you’ve been away from yoga
and need a refresher course? Come join us for a 6-week
intro series exploring yoga poses (asana) and breath work
(pranayama). This is a nonjudgemental nurturing class covering the basics. This class will give you the confidence to
start you on your yogic journey.

HATHA FLOW • Hatha Flow is a fun and dynamic form
of yoga where postures are linked together using breath.

YOGA FOR BOOMERS & BEYOND • Even the fittest
boomers experience some physical and mental deterioration due to the aging process. It’s unavoidable. However, no
one needs to surrender to this. Every Boomer can fight
back! Yoga has been proven to reduce problems with
digestion, poor circulation, lung and respiratory problems
and insomnia due to stress, anxiety and depression. This
program is designed with a focus on building strength and
flexibility, muscle tone and balance.
