The role:
As an IT administrator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers and
security systems.
In this role, you will act as a liaison between technical and non-technical people within the organization.
Candidates for this position must have strong customer service and communication skills, both written
and oral. Excellent organizational skills are a must for this fast paced, high visibility location. Responsible
for the appropriate monitoring of traffic and performance of network related systems and services to
ensure all aspects meet SLAs and business needs.
What you will do:

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the
Service Desk

Update network applications as required

Maintain daily tape backup and off-site tape storage

Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate
requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.

Conduct technology training for new users

Provide support to the Technology team

Conduct briefings and demonstrations for users to enhance system productivity

Assist in the development of training coursework and materials

Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise

Attend courses to develop and keep skills and knowledge current

Comply with continuing education requirements

Increase efficiencies, technical ability and interpersonal skills

Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking

Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software

Complete special projects as requested

Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software





Determine appropriate standards for network related hardware and software across the
organization
Develop and implement policies/procedures for daily operational management, including best
practices for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting escalated end user network
issues
Develop, implement, and maintain training plans for Network Infrastructure resources.
Establish and deploy testing/measurement methodologies including network performance criteria.
Ensure that staff are knowledgeable of performance criteria so they can conduct monitoring
activities appropriately.
Assist in the creation of appropriate network related SLAs and ensure same are met with
appropriate follow up and remediation steps when not met
What you need for this position:













Hands on practice of configuring the Firewall (PIX 525E) and configuration of Multiple VLAN
Hands on experience of configuring and managing enterprise level of OS, Databases and
Exchange Server with Unified Communication.
Experience with project management
Detail oriented and deadline driven
Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical personnel
Strong knowledge of security standards
Ability to handle multiple priorities

Education and/or Experience:

16 Years degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent qualification from a
University recognized by the HEC






03 years relevant work experience
Enterprise/Large Company management experience
Experience managing remote and matrixes resources
MCP, Cisco & ITIL certification will have preference
The ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional
client service is required. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical,
and problem-solving and computer skills required.
A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along
with a commitment to quality and confidentiality
