Mrs Webster, has unfortunately had to leave
Kindergarten due to a change in personal
circumstances, we wish her well.
Lost property, there is a box of lost property
outside the entrance to Kindergarten. Please
check to see if any items belong to your child!
Early Years Foundation Stage [EYFS], if
you would like to understand more about
your child’s development please visit:
www.foundationyears.org.uk/eyfs-statutoryframework where EYFS for Parents – What to
expect, when? can be found. If you have any
questions then a member of staff will be
happy to answer them.
Topic, this term the topic is “growing”.
If you have any ideas that can support
this topic please speak to a member of
staff. As the weather gets warmer we
aim to be outside more and it is helpful
to us if all bags, clothes etc. can be
clearly named and if children could
have sun hats and sun cream in their
bags.
Sainsbury’s vouchers, these are now
coming to an end so if you have any
vouchers at home please bring them in
to Kindergarten so we can exchange
them for resources. We have been able
to order some fabulous equipment in
the past thanks to the voucher scheme.
Numbers, we have reached the end of
the alphabet and will now be looking at
a number each week using Ten Town,
we will begin with zero. If you would
like more information on this please
speak to a member of staff. We will
continue with the Letters and Sounds
programme by singing, playing games,
rhyming, musical activities and other
similar experiences.
Early Years Pupil Premium, this is
funding available to families in receipt
of certain benefits. If you think you
may qualify please speak to a member
of staff. This funding is to support the
children within the setting.
Parental Questionnaire, as part of
our partnership with parents, you will
shortly receive a copy of our parental
questionnaire. Please complete and
return it to us as we do value your
feedback.
