The course is taught by more than 30 faculty members selected for their expertise in areas related to the successful delivery of family health care and patient outcomes. The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine faculty is nationally recognized for their expertise in the management of complex conditions that is unavailable elsewhere in the state, region or sometimes even the nation. This is a very fast-paced course with most speakers utilizing an audience response system, which provides participants with immediate feedback of their knowledge and the opportunity to reinforce comprehension and retention of key learning objectives. Each session will include time for questions and answers. The course combines best-practice strategies and education through case studies and lectures. More than 800 pages of syllabus materials are provided as a resource for today’s office practice. INTENDED AUDIENCE AND SCOPE OF PRACTICE This activity is intended for family physicians, general internists, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses and other health care professionals who provide primary care to patients. This activity was developed for participants with a scope of practice that includes and provides comprehensive medical care, health maintenance and preventive services to adult patients. The only difference between levels is location in the exhibit hall. Exhibit fees include two complimentary exhibitor registrations. Booths requiring additional exhibitors will be charged an additional $85 per exhibitor. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. •Exhibitors will be responsible for setting up and dismantling their own exhibit materials. The Office of Continuing Professional Development and Reed Convention Center are not responsible for any items left unattended. •The Reed Convention Center is unable to store display material and/or show merchandise. At the conclusion of the last exhibit break (3:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.) all related equipment, crates, etc., must be removed from the premises. •Exhibits will be placed in a designated area. High attendance is anticipated, and we will provide planned activities to increase traffic. Beverage breaks will be held in the exhibit area. Exhibitor badges allow access to morning & afternoon breaks, lunch, and lectures. Times allotted in the program for exhibits: 7:30 – 8 a.m. 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. 3:30 – 4 p.m. •The conference welcomes samples of your products, if applicable, for distribution to the participants.
