are associated.
1. Required Tests
Note: The order in which the test steps are listed reflects the sequence of the certification criterion and does not necessarily
prescribe the order in which the test should take place.
1.1 Identify, Record, and Access Health Information Documents
Evaluate the capability of the Health IT Module to properly identify, record (capture and store), and access (examine
or review) the health information documents associated with a patient.

Evaluate the capability of the Health IT Module to reference a health information document, including providing
narrative information on where to locate a specific health information document, and the capability to link to the
health information document by linking to an internet site where the document is stored.
