How to update the BtB module
1. Connecting
•
Connect the PC to the RS232 port on the TV. Use the
RS232 cable (Thin cable. DSUB9 to Minijack)
– RS232 is called “1 HOTEL DATA” on BV10.
– On BeoVision 7-40 use the port called RS232 and
also the RS232 cable.

RS232 port and OC is not always left and right.
On BV10-40 and 46” RS232 is located to the right, when looking from behind.
One BV10-32 RS232 is located to the left.
On BeoVision 10, RS232 is always called ”1 HOTEL DATA” and OC is always called ”3. Service”
2. Launching ServiceTool

When you start the ServiceTool you need to check the BtB
Module Upgrader under the right “Experts only” section.
Select the COM port under the ”Connections” tab

3. Select file to update

Press the Browse button and locate the new software for
the BtB module.
Press the Start button.

4. Updating the module

The ServiceTool will open the BtB upgrader.
Follow the instruction of the BtB upgrader and press Start.

5. Verify software version
•

First disable the BtB mode by pressing “Menu, 0, 0, GO”
on the remote, if this has already been set.
Turn the TV on and press Menu

Move the cursor to the OPTIONS menu and press “0, 0,
GO”. Now choose the Business To Business menu.
5. Verify software version
•

In the Business To Business menu in the TV service menu,
you can find the BtB application software version (in this
case 6.62v).
In here you will also be able to enable or disable the BtB
mode.
