• Ask for The Book of Defects (KNIHA ZÁVAD) at the reception
• Anything that needs to be repaired, has to be written in
CZECH in this book. Check the guide book of the dormitory

Steps on How to Do Laundry
1. Make a reservation at the reception

possible to use washing machine: 8:00 - 24:00
only one cycle a day!
(not possible to reserve more than 1 machine per day)
2. Before laundering
•

pick up the key from the laundry room at the reception
pay the fee 20 CZK
leave your dormitory card at the reception till you finish your
laundry
3. Do your laundry by yourself 
4. After laundering
•
return the key at the reception
Penalty for delayed key return is 50 CZK for each started hour
Student duties
• when entering the dormitory, use your ISIC card/ show
your dormitory card
• respect “quiet hours”: 22:00 – 6:00
• do not throw anything out of the window
• throw out your rubbish to the litter bags in the corridor
• Recycle waste (paper and plastic)
• non-smoking dormitory
• no parties in the dormitory !!!

Procedure of moving out of
The date of your check-out is May 31, 2012
There will be Moving-out schedule on a notice board next to the dormitory
manager office. Do not forget to sign for a date and time.
On the day of departure

ask the cleaning lady to check your room
return the bed linen and the desk lamp to the storekeeper
return the dormitory card and the keys to the dormitory manager office
Staying a few days longer
•

You have to write an e-mail to [email protected] (from your
school e-mail) until the end of MARCH (after the end of March you
cannot change the date of departure)
The e-mail has to contain exact date until when you want to stay
– the new date of departure has to be a working day (Mo-Fr)
You may get a different room for the extended period
You will sign new contract in the end of April
Payment for the extended period has to be 7-14 days in advance from
the beginning of the contract
For any changes in the contract take your Buddy with you for
translation
If you want to interrupt the contract for a period of time, please contact
the exchange office.
