Initial Folder Creation and Implementation
The purpose of this document is to guide the user through the creation and installation of the standard
edition Pilot folder (PILOT) containing the standard edition presetting and used during the
implementation phase. The X3 reference folder included on the Standard Edition DVD is the starting
point for creating such folder.
Folder Creation
After installing and patching the latest version of Sage ERP X3 Standard Edition…
1.
Log into the X3 Reference folder as the ADMIN user.
2. Go to… Parameters / General Parameters / Folders (GESADS).
3. Select the X3 folder from the left-list. This folder was imported into the Sage X3 Solution as part
of the initial software installation.
4. In the Folder field, overwrite X3 with PILOT and press Tab. This will begin to modify the record
and put the function into Create mode.
5. Enter ‘PILOT Folder’ as the Name.

folder.
