Box M-073 MPO Mandaluyong Municipal Bldg., 1501 Mandaluyong City, Philippines Press Release Globe signs USD120 M term loan facility with Metrobank Leading telecommunication company Globe Telecom signed a USD 120 Million term loan facility with Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co. (Metrobank) as lender. Proceeds of the loan will be used to finance the Company's capital expenditures, which include the ongoing network modernization and transformation program, and investments in fixed line, international cable facilities, and IT infrastructure. The term loan facility with Metrobank brings to USD 195 Million the total loans signed by Globe Telecom for the first quarter of the year. For 2012, Globe Telecom reported record consolidated service revenues of P 82.7 Billion, 6% above previous year's level of P 77.8 billion, as the mobile and broadband segments delivered service revenues of P 67.2 Billion and P 8.7 Billion, respectively, both record highs as well.
