Purpose of the Job Under the general supervision of the Donor Relations Specialist, the incumbent will assist in the monitoring of report dates and writing of all Donor Reports of all Programme funds, falling under UNICEF Harare, Zimbabwe. Key result areas Assist to ensure that all donor reports are submitted in a timely and accurate way as per donor and UNICEF reporting requirements. This includes gathering of information, writing, editing and production of interim and final reports. Ensure that all donors receive Certified Financial Statements annually. Assist in updating and maintaining information on all the donor and programme reporting requirements. Ensure section heads and field offices are updated on these requirements and follow up as required. In collaboration with the Donor Relations Specialist, develop fundraising proposals for Harare Programme in line with the overall fundraising strategy. Contribute to compiling and editing of humanitarian and programmatic updates. Contribute to compiling and editing monthly programme updates based on inputs from sections, including the Annual and mid-year reports. Contribute to Harare monthly or any other report. Maintain archives for all reports and proposals. Qualifications and Competencies A university degree in social sciences or related technical field. At least four years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national level, preferably with a Humanitarian organization. Strong analytical and communication skills. Good quantitative and qualitative research skills. Computer skills, including internet navigation and various office applications. Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization. General ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form; specific skills in writing reports. Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas, as well as impart knowledge and teach skills.
