Parish Mission - the theme for our
Parish Mission, next Lent, is
"Renewing Faith, Spreading Joy".
We also have a Mission Prayer, so
now is a good time to start praying
for the success of the mission - if you haven't already done
so.
Parish Mission Prayer
Loving God, Creator and Giver of all things,
bless our Parish Mission.
Send Your Spirit to renew our faith and
help us spread the joy of the salvation
that Your Son wrought for us.
Grant us Your grace, that we may serve our community,
glorify You, and be sanctified ourselves.
We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Our Lady, Cause of our Joy, pray for us.
St. Francis Xavier, pray for us.
St. John Kemble, pray for us.

**********
In Luke’s Gospel passages this week, we find Jesus
battling against his jealous enemies, still trying to
catch him out. We may find ourselves in such a
condition but we just have to keep on in our Journey
in Faith knowing that the Holy Spirit will never let
us down.
Some memorable statements:
If you keep the faith, ‘you will be built into a house
where God lives, in the Holy Spirit’.
So some of us, the gift was to be apostles, ‘If we live
by the truth and in love, we shall all grow in all ways
into Christ, who is the Head by whom the whole
body is fitted and joined together … … So the body
forms until it has built itself up in love’. Petal.

the Fair a success. As usual we shall need ‘Bric-aBrac’, books cakes, bottles, anything ‘Red or Green’,
toys quality goods and clothing. You can either bring
them to the church and leave in the Sacristy or ring
for collection 266435. Nearer the time we will be
asking for donations for the hampers. Let’s pray that
this year will be as good as last year. Many thanks
Pat Maclean.
