Talcott purchases a variety of research databases for patrons to
use for free. You can use the Talcott website to access these
research databases. Click on : “Online Databases”. These
databases are helpful tools for homework and research projects
for students. You just need your library card barcode to login.
Some popular ones for students include:
A to Z the USA = provides an online source for city, county and
state facts including maps, flags, and photos for all 50 states and
5 territories.
A to Z World Travel = provides an online source for information
about different countries including travel essentials, facts, city
views, climate and weather , maps, language, and much more.
Gale Testing and Education Reference Center = Online information
center for education and careers.
Gale Virtual Reference = 1700 plus full text reference books and
documents available for searching.
Magazine Article Index = Ebsco Magazine Extensive access to
