Administration Fee: Admin fee $8 per rider per day, includes programme.
MEP Ground Fee: $8 per horse/pony PER DAY. $10 per day schooling

CONDITIONS:
NOTES:
1. All competitions run under ESNZ rules and the committee reserve the right
to alter the programme.
2. All tests from Official Dressage Test Book 2013 or ESNZ website
3. Registrations of horse and rider must be current at time of entry for all graded
classes. Unregistered riders must be ESNZ Community Members as of 1st Aug.

Registered ponies will compete with horses on equal terms at levels 3 and above;
and in National Challenge and musical freestyle classes
4. Lunging area will be identified on the grounds, please keep to this area.
5. Competitors are restricted to no more than three tests per day per horse/pony
6. Remember bridle numbers must be worn and ID Tags at all other times
7. MEP is happy to have dogs on the grounds but please keep on a lead at all times
8. Draw will be posted on www.sportsground.co.nz/marlboroughdressage.
9. Scratchings - to be emailed to [email protected]
NOTE 1: Prydes Young Rider: Test ridden once; score from registered classes
at relevant level apply. Eg: For class 6, scores from classes 3, 4 or 5
apply. Rider must enter Class 6 to be eligible for Prydes YR Points. No Entry Fee.
NOTE 2: Dunstan Bonanza Qualifier: Enter Class 40. Test entered and ridden separately.

NOTE 3: Young Dressage Horse: Scores taken from challenge test ('D' Test).
4 Yr old to enter L1, 5yr old L2, 6yr old L3. Trophy for Overall Champion, highest %
over all ages.
Refunds will omly be made with doctors or vets certificate or at the discretion of
the organising committee, less admin fee and onlinery fees.
Requests must be confirmed in writing within 7 days of the event.
10. Late entries +$5 per class - to go on a wait list until a place is available in the
class resulting from a scratching.
11. Musicals on CDs only, no tapes
12. Companion horses $10 ground fee per day to be paid at office
13. Arena Familiarisation; each day led in hand or ridden, walk only
around your appropiate arena. Time sent with draw.
14. Overall Trophies will be presented at the prize giving at the completion of the
final event. An unmounted prize giving will be held at the completion of each
day’s event. Riders must be in correct attire. Rule 485 applies – riders must be
present or prize money/prize is forfeited.
15. Stabling is available at the Waterlea Racecourse at $10 per night, Please make
own arrangements - Phone 5788599.
16. ALL MARLBOROUGH RIDERS please be available to write for a judge.
17.For prizemoney, please provide your bank account number

} NZ HANOVARIAN SOCIETY SASHES for highest scoring
Hanovarian. Separate sashes for Levels 1-3 and Levels 4-9.
Send copy of Pink Papers with entry (mail or email).
NOTES FOR UNREGISTERED HORSES AND PONIES:
} This tournament offers unregistered classes at Level 1 and unregistered
horses/ponies are eligible for the Dunstan Bonanza Qualifier - see ESNZ
website for details. 'Unregistered' riders are required to be ESNZ
COMMUNITY registed. (See ESNZ website)
NOTES FOR YOUNG RIDERS:
} For Pony and Young Rider Age Groups and Eligibility refer Dressage NZ Yearbook
} GAYENDO TROPHY awarded to Young Rider Champion (highest % from National Challenge Qualifiers,
across all grades). Young rider age eligibility refer NZ Dressage NZ Yearbook.
} Points towards ROANOAKE JUST TRU TROPHY (see Marlborough Dressage website
for details, unregistered RIDERS SUPPLY YOUR AGE)
