We will kick off the fair with a FREE Spaghetti Dinner on Tuesday, October 21st from 5:00-7:00pm in the Community Center. Please bring a donation of a canned good for each family member that is attending. The Fair will be open during dinner from 5:007:30pm. We encourage parents, grandparents, family and friends to come check out the Fair and enjoy a delicious meal. **You can purchase Scrip from 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday in the main office at school. We will work to make your Scrip purchasing as easy as possible. Scrip is also available after most masses. Thank you to everyone who has purchased Scrip or used their Schnucks e-script card. **The Riverbender has secured a bus and driver for St. Ambrose School. All 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are eligible to attend the after school program. There are numerous activities such as art classes, German classes, computers and many more available. BeDell Achievement and Resource Center will be held at Julia’s Banquet Center from 8-12. The band will be Mondin and beer and soda will be provided. Their pieces were three out of 24 selected from the entire nation of entries. This was our school’s third year to have a winner. Our girls join past winners Claire Spain and Luke Schnaak. We are also the only school in the Springfield Diocese to have been selected. We are also please to announce that Ruby’s artwork has been chosen as the grand prize winner. Her picture will be used for this year’s Pontifical Christmas Card. All three girls were honored at the Mission Mass in Springfield on October 1st. We received framed copies of their work to hang in the school and their originals will be displayed at the Basilica in Washington, D.C. in December.
