On the 3rd Saturday of most months from 10:00-12:00, the OEYC will
be hosting morning with Dads, Step-Dads, Grandpas! Join us for breakfast, circle time, and meet other Dads and their families. Space is limited,
so please register before each breakfast.

Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm.

Desiree has been a Supply Staff member with our agency. We look forward to having Desiree offering programs in Jarratt, Ramara and

Snow Policy and

If school buses are cancelled in the
“North Zone”:
 Registered programs at the centres
will be cancelled
 Outreach programs will be cancelled
 A decision will be made if the centres
will remain open for stay and play
If local schools are closed or roads are
closed due to bad weather:
 The OEYC centres and programs will
be closed.

HOW TO TALK SO KIDS WILL LISTEN

This is a group program for parents with children 3-6
years. How to Talk will looks at different aspects and
needs of parents who are parenting young children.

ZOOMANIA

Families with children 2-6 years can join us for a
Zoomania adventure. Each week children will explore
different animals through crafts, puzzles, play, songs
and stories. Registration required for this program.
PARENT-CHILD MOTHER GOOSE- INFANT
Thursday, October 23rd to December 11th, 1:30-3:00
Parents and infants will enjoy connecting and bonding while
learning new poems, rhymes, lullabies, and stories. Each
parent will receive a booklet at the end of all the sessions
with all of the rhymes, poems, and songs they’ve learned.
Registration required please.

FIRE STATION FIELDTRIP FOR DADS!
DATE: Saturday, December 20th
TIME: 11:30
We are planning on going to the Orillia Fire Station for
our Saturday Morning with Dads. IT’S SO EXCITING
as we are waiting for NEW FIRE STATION to open.
We will get to see the new station, all the trucks, and
talk to the fire fighters.

Jo Lovering from Infant Development will be visiting
the centre during our Stay and Play program. Parents

with children 2 and up, offering conversation and
information on topics such as communication, behavior, cooperation, child development and more.
