Dr. Nanci Huels Elected LLC Foundation President The Lake Land College Foundation Board of Directors elected Nanci Huels of Altamont as its president for the 2014-2015 academic year. The foundation held its annual meeting and celebrated raising nearly $523,938 and awarding nearly $350,000 in total gifts to Lake Land College students for the 2013-2014 academic year. The foundationʼs now total $8.2 million. During the past year, the foundationʼs assets grew from $7.4 million to $8.2 million, according to the audit presented at the meeting. “More than 24,964 students were enrolled at Lake Land College last year with 40.8 percent of all area high school graduates attending the college,” said Bob Pancoast, outgoing president of the Lake Land College Foundation. “That is a lot of lives being improved through education in east-central Illinois and more opportunities for all of us to grow and prosper.
