School meets in Sierra Vista Chapel featuring
“Pastors’ Update, with Vaughn Nelson;” Ruth Burke,
teacher. This week in Journey, Don Stacy will lead
our discussion of Habakkuk as we continue to
examine the Flyover Scriptures.
This Sabbath’s offering is for our Local
Church Budget.
Fellowship Luncheon. Visitors are invited to
potluck across the street in Sierra Vista Chapel
after church@9:30 and church@noon. All are
welcome. Members are invited to bring a dish.

for the awesome potluck she gave on October 25.
Community Services (CS).
Christmas Sale. Come check out our four-day
Christmas sale starting this Sunday in the Pathfinder
Room from 8:00am-1:00pm. Decorate your home
for the holidays and support our Community
Services food distribution. Boutique open as well!
Thanksgiving Food Drive. Community Services
will be collecting non-perishable items including:
beans, canned corn, canned vegetables, canned
yams, green beans, mashed potatoes, and stuffing.
Bring items to the church and place them in the
boxes near the exits.
Baskets for Shut-ins. Community Services is
preparing their annual Thanksgiving baskets for our
shut-in members. If you know of a shut-in member,
please call the church office with their name.
Sabbath Rest is until 4:46pm on November 15. Next
Sabbath’s welcome is on November 21 at 4:42pm.

La Sierra University’s
Center for Near Eastern Archaeology will hold
its 6th Annual Archaeology Discovery Weekend
November 15 and 16, featuring ancient maritime
archaeology. Topics include: the Galilee boat, Roman
maritime activity on the Dead Sea, and recovered
shipwrecks on Cyprus and in Turkey. Activities
include: lectures by international scholars, hands-on
displays, a teachers’ workshop, and a dig for kids and
