Music Ministry Notes:
An Invitation is Extended to Men of the Parish...
A Men's Choir has ministered the past 2 years at 9:00
a.m. Thanksgiving Day Mass and has received positive feedback,
so, by request....it's being organized again for a 3rd year! The men
of the traditional choir again invite any man in the parish, 18 years
old and older, with a pleasant singing voice (reading music is not
necessary) to join them ministering at the 9:00 a.m. Mass on
Thanksgiving Day. There are NO auditions and NO additional
evening rehearsals required. Just show up in the loft no later than
8:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day morning for a quick review of the
music and you too, can help lead the singing in the Men's Choir on
Thanksgiving Day morning!!! Hope to see some more new faces in
the loft T-day morning! If you have any questions, please come up
to the loft after any weekend mass or call Mrs. Mary Gabriel at
(330)636-1739. No excuses this year...you have 11 more days to
clear your schedule for T-day morning!
Tuesdays: Doors open at 5:00 p.m.; games start at 6:30 p.m.

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church
St. Francis Xavier Catholic School Update
St. Francis Xavier Celebrates Our Veterans!
Our school honored our Veterans on Tuesday, November 11th in an outstanding manner.
We began the day with a beautiful liturgy with
Fr. John Mullee from Our Lady Help of Christians presiding. Many Veterans joined us
later in the day for a special presentation and reception. Thank
you to all who were involved in making this celebration such a
beautiful event for our Veterans and their families.
I would also like to thank our parents that attended the PTO
General Meeting and those who have committed to making our
presence known in the Medina Holiday of Lights Parade on Saturday, November 22nd. It is not too late to join in the parade
excitement. Please contact Mrs. Herman for more information.
As our school continues its commitment to service, the Student Council is sponsoring the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive
Collection this week that will benefit the St. Vincent DePaul
Society.
Students in Grades K-4 will be celebrating liturgy on Tuesday. Please plan on attending if your schedule permits. Kindly
keep our second graders in your prayers this week, as they will
be making their first Reconciliation either Friday evening or
Saturday morning.
Finally, this is a reminder that you may purchase St. Francis
Xavier School Spiritwear all year long. Use this link to order
Spiritwear for the holidays http://sfxmedina.clvhosting.com/.
Orders placed by November 26 will be delivered to the school
by December 15. If you want it to be a Christmas surprise for
your little Navigator, you can pick your items up at the store.
Remember, a portion of the proceeds go directly back to the
school! Thank you for your continued support of St. Francis
Xavier School.
