HOLLYWOOD AFTER PARTY
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who attended the Hollywood After Party! Over 150 parents, staff, and guests
gathered in the Sheraton Fairplex ballroom under the lights and balloons to enjoy food, drinks, music, and games. Add a
silent and live auctions, the beautiful classroom treasures and great prizes and we had the ingredients for a very fun
evening! Congratulations to 2nd grade parents Jose and Rosa Prieto, who won the $5,000!
I left the auction Saturday night feeling humbled by your generosity and inspired by your support The results of the
fundraising efforts have not been finalized, but it's safe to say that the auction was a huge financial and community
building success. We raised money for our school and we had a great time doing it! If you were not able to attend the
auction you may still contribute to the Auction of Need, replacing the copy machine in the office and also helping our
sister school. Please contact Gary Schwary [email protected] , or me for more information.
The success we enjoyed is not an accident nor is it good luck! Effective planning, attention to details, follow-up and
follow-through are essential factors when running an event of this magnitude.
Please read through the list of people who contributed to make the Hollywood After Party a great success and please
support our sponsors! The list is long but it tells the story about the time, talent, and resources required to put on this
event and the generosity of our school community.
Congratulations and thank you!

SOLEMNITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, KING OF THE UNIVERSE
Matthew 25:31-34
Reflecting the Word
Celebrating Jesus as King of the Universe reminds us that his power is greater than any earthly leader or secular
movement. Yet, his power is also unlike that of a human king. He does not assume authoritarian leadership. He initiated
his rule by healing those who were cast out, calling for love of neighbor and washing others’ feet. This is the Servant King
whom we worship today and the kingdom we long to inherit.
……On the Way to Mass Today is the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King. Who are some of the kings we have
heard stories about? I wonder how Jesus is like a king.
On the Way Home from Mass……I wonder what the world would be like if everyone lived like Jesus wants us to live.
