Control your blood sugar when short
on time
Lower your blood sugar with some “exercise
snacking” (short intervals on hilly terrain), before you eat. Research participants who did six
one-minute, intense-incline walking intervals 30
minutes before breakfast saw a 17 percent less
high level in post-meal blood sugar compared to
those who didn’t exercise. They also saw a 13
percent less high level compared to those who
did a continuous 30-minute workout. Quick
bursts of activity are a great way for timecrunched people to fit in some exercise and keep
blood sugar levels in check.
