Absent/Late
At Wallbrook we encourage children to come to
school every day and on time. If your child is ill
please contact the school office on the first day
of absence giving name, class and reason for
absence. Children who arrive at school after
9am will be marked in the register as an
unauthorised late, which will be recorded as an
absence.
Dance Club
We still have places available in the Dance Club
which takes place at Wallbrook Primary School
on Wednesday mornings from 8am—8.45am.
The Dance Club is open to all children from
Years 3,4,5 and 6. The cost of the club is £5.00
and will be running until we break up for
Christmas in December, so we’re sure you will
agree this is great value. If you would like to
secure a place for your child please call in at
the school office to get a consent form.

before Christmas and make wonderful presents
for family and friends.

60th Anniversary Fair
The new date for the 60th Anniversary Fair will be Friday 4th October 2013. We will be having lots
of exciting stalls and games. There will be a traditional sweet stall, lucky dip, cake stall, punch
balloons and tombola. We still need tombola prizes and would be grateful for all donations. Toys,
cans or bottles of pop are always a favourite item.
On Tuesday 1st October 2013, your child can come to school dressed as someone from their
chosen decade. This is the same day we will be having our school picnic so maybe your child will
be eating lunch with Elvis, Princess Leia, Diana Ross or a Beatle look alike? Don’t forget we still
need any memorabilia you may have. Photos and examples of school uniform would be great and
will be returned.
Picnic Lunch— 60th Anniversary Celebrations
On Tuesday 1st October 2013, the kitchen will be providing a picnic lunch to celebrate Wallbrook
Primary School’s 60th Anniversary. The menu will be as follows: Pizza, Chicken Nuggets,
Sausage Rolls, Sandwiches, Salad, Crisps and a portion of the celebration cake.
If you would like to order a picnic lunch for your child, please complete the slip below and return
to school as soon as possible. If your child is entitled to Free School Meals you still have to
