be deceased laying on the bathroom floor.
Contact was made with Cathy Clark and the body was transported to the morgue at Union Hospital until all attempts to locate next

Christmas written on the top was found between the main door and storm door. The large jar contained loose change and dollar
bills that ranged in different denominations. Ms. Miller advised she heard someone knocking at her door around 9PM and due to
being new in the area she was afraid to answer it for she does not have many friends that know her address. Ms. Miller advised
when see looked out her window nobody was around. Ms. Miller also advised just before Christmas one of her friends that belong
to a church approached her and asked how they could assist her at her difficult time. Ms. Miller possibly believes the jar came
from them for this has happened before 3 years ago. There are no recent reports matching this item that was dropped off at her

Bill Haney called the Sheriff's office to report that his family got into a domestic incident and one of his daughters husband, Derik
Stringer, attempted to hit his other daughter with his vehicle. Lt. Brian Alford and Deputy Mike Snider responded to the location to
investigate the incident. Upon arrival units found Shalyn Green out walking on the street in front of the residence. Shalyn
reported that she and her sister, Madaline Green/Stringer got into a pretty heated verbal argument. Madaline and her husband,
Derik Stinger, recently moved into the residence with the rest of the family. Derik got tired of hearing the fighting and went to leave
the residence. When he was trying to back out of the driveway, Shalyn reported that she did confront him and smacked his
window of the car. Derik threatened to drive through the house and Shalyn dared him too. Derik then started to back out and then
put the car into drive and lunged forward, like he would hit Shalyn. Derik then backed out into the roadway. Angel Haney, the
mother of Shalyn and Madaline, came outside and threw a stick at Derik's vehicle. Derik then put the car in reverse and lunged
backwards to scare Angel but did not hit her with the car. The family advised that they did not want Derik back at the residence.

Robin Helsop contacted our office to report that her husband, Christopher Helsop, had kicked their 11 yoa son in the stomach.
When she attempted to call our office, he pulled the phone away from her head and it pulled her hair. Lt. Alford and Deputy Mike
Snider responded to the location. Robin reported that the incident got blown out of proportion when her 11 yoa son came in crying
that dad kicked him in the stomach. Christopher was on the phone and attempted to get his son away from him, who was yelling
loudly and interfering with the conversation. The boy ran to his mother and started crying. This enraged Christopher, who knew
that he did not kick the boy hard. Christopher and Robin then began to argue and caused Robin to attempt to call our office.
Christopher was trying to leave but did not want to leave if Robin was calling our office, so he decided to take the phone away from
her, to hang it up. Robin confirmed this story and stated that it was an incident that got blown out of proportion. Robin requested

Dispo: Units arrived on scene to find that 33 YOF, Amber Emma Pearl Larson (OLN UJ439658) had a self inflicted laceration to
her left forearm. Upon arrival, Amber was located laying on the kitchen floor with a moderate amount of blood pooled on the floor
around her. Amber's boyfriend, Benjamin L. Shephard (OLN RD322273) was kneeling next to Amber holding pressure on Amber's
wound with a white rag.
While speaking with Amber, she admitted to consuming a significant amount of alcohol prior to the incident. Amber could not
recall cutting herself and the instrument used to cause the injury could not be located. Benjamin states that he exited the
residence to take the dog outside and upon returning he observed Amber standing in the kitchen holding her blood covered arm
saying that she needed help. Benjamin says that he immediately called 911.
Amber has a mental health history and is prescribed a number of medications which she has not taken for the past few days.
Amber was transported to Aultman ER by Strasburg EMS.
NOTE: While attempting to depart the scene, Strasburg FD got both their squad stuck in Mr. Shephard's driveway and the grass
truck stuck in Mr. Shephard's yard causing damage. Photographs were taken of the damage for documentation purposes.
Upon running Amber's information through dispatch, it was determined that she has an active warrant out of OSP for FTA for an
OVI offense. Contact was made with Aultman ER and their security was advised of same. Aultman security is to contact this office

I received information that the vehicle was being driven by Jean-Paul Ranel Trott and he was under suspension. Mr. Trott was

arrested earlier today at the Sheriff's Office on an outstanding warrant and was incarcerated. Mr. Trott had driven the vehicle to the
office and it was parked in the parking lot. While on station I observed the vehicle pull out of the parking lot and after confirming
with jail staff that Mr. Trott had been released, initiated an investigative stop. Upon making contact with the driver he identified
himself as Mr. Trott. At first Mr. Trott denied having any identification on him but then produced a Florida Identification card. I
verified that Mr. Trott's drivers license was suspended and issued him a citation for driving under suspension. Mr. Trott called a
friend to come pick him up and the vehicle was parked at Rich Industries until he could get another licensed driver to come pick it
up.

Upon arrival R/O observed two boys with bikes in the back yard. As I got out of the car the boys attempted to ride away from
the residence. I yelled for the boys to stop and they did comply. They returned to the residence and to speak with R/O. The boys
were identified as Travis Croft and Brandon Sickles. The boys and R/O checked the residence. The residence was secure and
undamaged. R/O contacted the boys parents and advised them of the incident. The boys were return to Brandon's residence on
East High Ave. The returned to the residence without incident.

taking place was just outside the jurisdiction of NP PD, located at 1347 E. High Ave. NE. Lt. Alford responded to the location and
upon walking towards the front door, located a white female inside the residence in a front room, directly off of an apparent living
room, on the North East corner of the house. The female then shut the door to the room and would not answer the door to the
residence. Lt. Alford then knocked on the window of the room, where a loud stereo was overheard and all of the windows were
covered inside, and no one would answer the door. Lt. Alford then located a burn pile, on a back patio of the residence, and found
broken open batteries and plastic bottles burnt up, giving some indicators of meth lab tools. A female was seen looking out a back
window but again would not come to the door. Lt. Alford then took photographs of the outside of the residence and of the fire pit

On December 23, 2013 Central Dispatch was contacted by Alex Wardell, he stated that he is receiving harassing type phone calls
and text from a Jessi Thompson and Priscilla Parrot. Alex requested that a Deputy make contact with these subjects and advise
them to not contact him.
Dispo: Deputy Fisher responded to the above address and spoke with Alex Wardell and obtained phone numbers for Jessi
Thompson and Priscilla Parrot. Alex advised Deputy Fisher that this harassment situation stems from him requesting a paternity
test from Trisha Green, the mother of his child. Deputy Fisher advised Alex that the Sheriff's Office would attempt to make contact
with Jessi and Priscilla and advise them of the complaint.
Deputy Limbacher made contact by phone with Jessi Thompson (330-488-7660) and advised him to not contact Alex. A voicemail
was left for Priscilla Parrot (330-312-2421) advising the same.

Dispatch received a call from Onstar advising they have a client by the name of Terry Gritzan stating someone is trying to kill him.
Dispo: Upon arrival there was no disturbance and the caller already left the area. Contact was made with Jordan Frey, Richard
Clark, Charles Crawley, Alexander Stuchul, Erica Beans and Megan Evans. All advised a guy by the name of Terry started
causing problems with them when they became concerned about Terry's dog being in the vehicle for a couple of hours while he
was drinking beer inside the establishment. When they asked Terry if they could watch his dog for a little bit he became irate
saying don't tell how to raise my dog that escalated to him saying he is a local and made threats of cutting their throats and
shooting them with a gun, causing a verbal altercation in the parking lot. All advised he was highly intoxicated and appeared to be
under the influence of narcotics and they denied making any threats towards him. Contact with Terry could not be remade. No one
wish to pursue the matter. N/R

Byers reported that his Step-son, 22 year old Zachary R. Wilson of Steubenville was intoxicated and out of control at the
residence.
Dispo: Deputy Stocker responded to the scene and found Mr. Wilson screaming obscenities in the front yard. When approached
Mr. Wilson became angry and aggressive. Mr. Wilson was detained and after further investigation found that he had struck Mr.
Byers in the face causing swelling to the left side of his face. Mr. Wilson was taken into custody and charged with disorderly
conduct, assault/domestic violence.

Upon arrival I spoke with Jim Snyder a repair tech from Pepsi. Jim showed R/O the damage to all three machines. Jim advised
he could not tell how much cash and or products were missing from the machines without consulting the salesman. Jim advised
that he would the sales person contact R/O and advise the amount of the money and product missing.
There are no suspects in this case. The case remains under investigation.

shooting fireworks.
Dispo: Units responded to the area and located evidence (firecracker/fireworks wrappers) laying all over the ground along with
numerous paintball rounds outside of 2386 Lowden St NW. Upon knocking on the door, contact was made with Jessica Raye
Reed (OLN RY437693). As soon as Jessica opened the door an overwhelming odor of burnt Marijuana could be smelled coming
from the inside of the residence. After asking about the Marijuana, Jessica and her boyfriend, Brandon Parker admitted to
smoking Marijuana. Jessica also turned over several Marijuana paraphernalia items and a small amount of Marijuana.
These items were logged into evidence to be destroyed.
The parties at the residence stated there would be no more problems with the fireworks and/or Marijuana in the future. N/R Deputy
