Charity is equal in importance to all other commandments combined
-- Babylonian Talmud
Each of us has a role to play in maintaining our synagogue for future generations.
Temple Israel's vision expresses this role by clearly identifying three areas that are
important to our membership:
Torah – Teach
Brit – Build Connections
Avodah – Advance Spirituality
There are many ways to support Temple Israel in these areas that suit every individual’s
ability, needs, wishes and means.
To join us in this task, please check our website, www.templeisraeloflb.org, to learn
about the many options for you to support our Temple in the specific areas of your
choice, or speak to one of our officers. We hope that you will select the options that
best reflect what's important to you, and then give generously.
Opportunities allow you to advertise your business, others let you provide funds to
maintain and beautify our surroundings by contributing towards furnishings, ritual
objects or sponsoring a Kiddush.
Why not honor, thank, or memorialize a loved one, by making a contribution in their
name, purchase a memorial plaque or a leaf on our “Tree of Life”.
The options are many. The needs are great! Each of us can make a difference through
contributions both large and small.
We thank you!
