If you already have an AAP account, ‘skip’ to Part Two to register for the course. PART ONE – Creating an AAP Account. Follow the steps below to create an AAP account (Login & Password). 1. Complete the entire form and click ‘continue’ at the bottom. 4. Go to www.pedialink.org 2. Enter your AAP Login and Password in the boxes on the right side of screen. 3. Click on the green CME tab located on the top of the screen. 4. Click the “launch” button next to Preventing and Managing Infectious Diseases in Early Education and Child Care. 6|Rev 9/12/2013 PART FOUR – Claiming Credit and Printing Certificate. Before you can claim credit, you MUST make sure you have completed all parts of the course: Pre-Assessment Questions Demographic Questions Post-Assessment Questions. 7|Rev 9/12/2013 There are three (3) different ways for claiming credit and printing a certificate. Reminder: Before you can claim credit, you MUST make sure you have completed all parts of the course: 1. You can select “Click Here” after completing your Post-Assessment 2. You may also select “Claim Credit or Contact Hours” on the left-hand side of the course’s homepage in the navigation bar area. Whichever way you select, you will be brought over to the below screen. Please make sure that you follow the instructions depending on whether you’re a ‘”Health Care Professional”, “Child Care Provider”.
