MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST – POSITION # FC-581-7 – Therapist needed to provide counseling and
consultation services for students referred by Franklin County Public Schools. Services will primarily be provided
within the school setting. Duties will include completing clinical and behavioral assessments, providing individual and
family therapy, developing behavioral intervention plans, consulting with school personnel to improve student
behavior, and encouraging parental involvement with interventions. Must be licensed (LCSW, LPC) or under license
supervision. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it relates to the position. OPEN

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST - POSITION #CS-549-4 – Full time position with benefits in residential
program in Rocky Mount, Virginia serving adults with intellectual, mental health & developmental disabilities. Duties
include direct care and training in independent living skills, personal care skills, vehicle inspection and oversight,
housekeeping skills, and recreational and leisure activities in the community. Primarily a Third Shift position including
weekend hours. Must have the ability to work well on a diverse team. High school diploma or GED is required. Must
exhibit good documentation skills as well as proficiency in using computers. Must have valid driver’s license and

EMPLOYMENT SERVICES SPECIALIST/CASE MANAGER- POSITION # CRP-44-7 – Assists Individuals with a
prior substance use history and/or other barriers with gaining competitive employment. Duties will include identifying
and contacting employers in Franklin County, reviewing local job market for available positions, acting as a liaison
between employers/businesses for the purpose of employment opportunities and career development, collaborating
with participants and community resources on employment related issues, and maintaining accurate and current
documentation of services. Bachelor’s degree in human services field is preferred. Must have good interpersonal

PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION MANAGER- FRANKLIN COUNTY – POSITION # CS-514-16 – Bachelor’s
degree in human services or related field plus experience providing direct service to persons with a diagnosis of
mental illness. Must meet Medicaid QMHP requirements. Good verbal & written communication skills. Duties
include planning & implementing rehabilitative & day support services in Franklin County for people with mental
disabilities; planning activities for individuals who require structured environment & training in functional living skills,
communication skills & appropriate social interaction. Salary commensurate with education & experience as it

INTENSIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT PEER SPECIALIST – POSITION # CL-350-5 – Peer Specialist is needed
to provide support to others who can benefit from their shared recovery experiences. The Peer Support Specialist
functions as a fully integrated member of the treatment team to provide expertise about the recovery process,
symptom management, and the persistence required by individuals to have a satisfying life. A Bachelor’s degree and
one year experience or RN degree with one year of experience is required as this position must meet the
qualifications for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Salary is commensurate with education and

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT SPECIALIST – POSITION # PC-581-3 – Provide training, support and assistance to
individuals residing in the Patrick County area with severe mental illness for the purpose of helping them achieve and
maintain community stability & independence, and develop positive healthy habits and relationships. Through
training and assistance, the service provider will support the individual in exploring, learning and building skills to help
them achieve maximum potential in the most appropriate and least restrictive environment. Minimum requirements
include a Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying human services field with one year related clinical experience preferred.

MENTAL HEALTH CASE MANAGER – POSITION #FC-320-11– Provide case management services to both
children and adults in the Franklin County area. Assure individuals receive the appropriate services to assist them in
accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational & other supports to meet their basic needs. Bachelor’s
degree in human services or related field preferred with one-year experience of direct care or equivalent combination
of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills & abilities. Experience with children is

LICENSED/LICENSED ELIGIBLE COUNSELOR– POSITION #YE-310-7- Therapist needed in the
Martinsville Office to conduct Individual, Group and Family Counseling Services for youth and their families.
Professionally licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT in Virginia preferred. Masters degree in a field leading to licensure
required. Applicants not licensed must be registered or qualified to register for Clinical Supervision in Virginia with
the applicable Licensing Board. Minimum of three years of clinical experience working with youth having mental

MENTAL HEALTH CASE MANAGER – POSITION #CL-320-16– Provide case management services adults in
Martinsville & Henry County. Assure individuals served receive the necessary services to assist them in accessing
needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, and other supports essential to meeting basic needs. Bachelor’s
degree in human services or related field preferred with one-year experience of direct care or any equivalent
combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills & abilities. Salary is

BFP CLINICIAN- POSITION # CL-310-15- Innovative Licensed Clinician to provide behavioral health
services in a rural primary care setting. The successful candidate will work as part of a primary care team
to plan and deliver behavioral health interventions that improve health outcomes for patients. This is an
opportunity to practice on the cutting edge of integrated health care. Candidates must be licensed to
practice in the state of Virginia, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc. or be eligible to start supervision hours towards
license. The successful candidate may be eligible for loan repayment through the National Health Service

INTENSIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT NURSE – POSITION # CL-350-6 – Provide all nursing services for
clients with severe and persistent mental illness at high risk for repeated hospitalization, incarceration and/or
homelessness who have been unsuccessful in traditional mental health services. Essential job duties include
medication administration, monitoring and education, and psychiatric and physical/health assessments. Also
provide case management, outreach, home visits, crisis intervention and advocacy. Must have RN license with

one year of experience working in mental health or LPN with 3 years of mental health experience. Salary is

for clients with severe and persistent mental illness. Provide on call intervention covering day and evening
hours in various possible high risk environments, including client’s homes and other community locations.
Participate in daily multidisciplinary treatment team planning meetings. Deliver medications to clients as often
as two times per day to encourage medication adherence. Will monitor urine drug screens and treatment
adherence. Assist individuals with accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational and other
supports essential for healthy functioning. Assist in vocational and education programs and activities designed
to restore, reinforce and enhance task performances and promote/maintain health and self-sufficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in human services field is required. One year experience with mental health is required.

and other community locations. Participate in daily multidisciplinary treatment team planning meetings. Deliver

INTENSIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT – POSITION # CL-350-4 – Supports the
Intensive Community Treatment multidisciplinary team. Responsible for organizing, coordinating, and
monitoring all nonclinical operations of ICT under the direction of the ICT Supervisor. Provides receptionist
activities including triage calls, coordinating communication between team and clients, and maintaining
accounting and budgeting records for client and program expenditures. Salary is commensurate with education

MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT THERAPIST/CASE MANAGER – POSITION #PC-310-2 – Provide mental
health outpatient therapy to children and adults with mental illness in Patrick County, VA. Applicant must
have a master’s degree in counseling (60 credit hours) and two years of experience. LMHP- Supervisee
candidates will be considered. Successful candidate will also be included in emergency services rotation.
In addition, position will require a case management caseload of 10 clients. As a case manager, applicant
will assist individuals with accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational and other supports
essential for healthy functioning. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it

EARLY INTERVENTION CASE MANAGER – POSITION #YE-620-4 – Provide assessment, linkage, and
advocacy services to infants & toddlers under the age of 3 & their families in Martinsville, Franklin, Henry, &
Patrick Counties. Acts as primary facilitator in the coordination & integration of early intervention services.
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, human services related field, or any
discipline or profession listed under Part C Personnel Standards; or a Registered Nurse with a valid license
to practice in Virginia; or any equivalent combination of education, training, & experience, which provides
the required knowledge, skills, & abilities. Prefer that Early Intervention Professional Practitioner Level be
met for a discipline or profession as defined in Chapter 12 of the Infant Toddler Connection of Virginia’s
practice manual. Prefer at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 6 with
developmental disabilities or developmental delays, case management, and writing/implementing
multidisciplinary service plans. Requires excellent communication skills and experience in working
pleasantly and cooperatively with a wide variety of people. Salary is commensurate with education &

QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST – POSITION # AD-15 – Implement a comprehensive quality assurance
program including DMAS and DBHDS licensure compliance & system improvements. Prior experience in

ID Professional status required, with 2 years experience in medical or clinical psychiatric services preferred.
