Parole. Licensed or licensed eligible (LCSW, LPC, etc.) required with a minimum of 2 years working with adults with
mental illness. Substance Abuse certification is preferred. Must have the ability to work independently. Salary is

RESIDENTIAL MANAGER – POSITION # CS-549-5 – Needed for group home in Franklin County serving adults
who have intellectual, mental health and physical disabilities. Duties include developing & implementing individual
service plans, supervising residential staff, providing training for adults with disabilities in independent living skills,
personal hygiene, leisure/recreational skills & community inclusion. Preferred experience in working with group
home, program management, & staff supervision and training; Positive Behavioral Supports, Crisis Intervention,
Conflict Resolution and implementation of a WRAP plan. Must have computer skills, be organized, able to multi-task
and document clearly. Some evening & weekend hours required. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related
field required. At least one year experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities preferred. Must meet

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT SPECIALIST – POSITION # CL-581-12 – Provide training, support and assistance to
individuals residing in the Martinsville/Henry County area with severe mental illness for the purpose of helping them
achieve and maintain community stability & independence, and develop positive healthy habits and relationships.
Through training and assistance, the service provider will support the individual in exploring, learning and building
skills to help them achieve maximum potential in the most appropriate and least restrictive environment. Minimum
requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying human services field with one year related clinical
experience or QMHP per Medicaid guidelines preferred. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and

OUTPATIENT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COUNSELOR– POSITION #CL-310-17 – Full time position in Martinsville
office working with adults and youth. Responsibilities include performing assessments ands providing supportive
counseling and/or brief therapy in both individual and group settings. Experience with substance abuse preferred.
LPC or LCSW is preferred; however, a Master’s degree and being license eligible are required. Salary is

COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE- POSITION # AD-17 – Individual is needed to manage self-pay accounts,
process delinquent accounts through the VA Dept of Taxation, and complete specialized billing processes which
require strong data entry skills. This position is responsible for following CSB Board-approved policies. Candidate
must be highly skilled in research using computer programs. Position also provides back-up to the receptionist
positions as needed. Minimum of high school education or GED required. Salary is commensurate with education

INTENSIVE CASE MANAGER – POSITION #FC-320-12 – Intensive Case Manager position for the Franklin County
area. Bachelor’s degree in human services field required with a minimum of two years experience in services to
children and families. Must qualify as a QMHP-C or will qualify within two months. Skills in team facilitation,
wraparound planning and implementing individualized care plans are desired. Position will work with small case load
of children and families who are involved with Social Services and/or court involvement. Salary is commensurate

SCHOOL BASED MENTAL HEALTH CASE MANAGER– POSITION #CL-320-19 – Provide case management to
children in the Patrick County area, with services primarily being provided at Stuart Elementary School. Position is

social, education and other supports essential to meeting their basic needs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in

MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST – POSITION # FC-581-7 – Therapist needed to provide counseling and
consultation services for students referred by Franklin County Public Schools. Services will primarily be provided
within the school setting. Duties will include completing clinical and behavioral assessments, providing individual and
family therapy, developing behavioral intervention plans, consulting with school personnel to improve student
behavior, and encouraging parental involvement with interventions. Must be licensed (LCSW, LPC) or under license

prior substance use history and/or other barriers with gaining competitive employment. Duties will include identifying
and contacting employers in Franklin County, reviewing local job market for available positions, acting as a liaison
between employers/businesses for the purpose of employment opportunities and career development, collaborating
with participants and community resources on employment related issues, and maintaining accurate and current
documentation of services. Bachelor’s degree in human services field is preferred. Must have good interpersonal

BFP CLINICIAN- POSITION # CL-310-15- Innovative Licensed Clinician to provide behavioral health services in a
rural primary care setting. The successful candidate will work as part of a primary care team to plan and deliver
behavioral health interventions that improve health outcomes for patients. This is an opportunity to practice on the
cutting edge of integrated health care. Candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Virginia, LPC, LCSW,

MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT THERAPIST/CASE MANAGER – POSITION #PC-310-2 – Provide mental health
outpatient therapy to children and adults with mental illness in Patrick County, VA. Applicant must have a master’s
degree in counseling (60 credit hours) and two years of experience. LMHP- Supervisee candidates will be
considered. Successful candidate will also be included in emergency services rotation. In addition, position will
require a case management caseload of 10 clients. As a case manager, applicant will assist individuals with
accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational and other supports essential for healthy functioning.

EARLY INTERVENTION CASE MANAGER – POSITION #YE-620-4 – Provide assessment, linkage, and advocacy

Acts as primary facilitator in the coordination & integration of early intervention services. Bachelor’s degree in early
childhood education, special education, human services related field, or any discipline or profession listed under Part
C Personnel Standards; or a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in Virginia; or any equivalent
combination of education, training, & experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, & abilities. Prefer
that Early Intervention Professional Practitioner Level be met for a discipline or profession as defined in Chapter 12 of
the Infant Toddler Connection of Virginia’s practice manual. Prefer at least 1 year of experience working with
children under the age of 6 with developmental disabilities or developmental delays, case management, and
writing/implementing multidisciplinary service plans. Requires excellent communication skills and experience in

RESPONSIBILITIES
Management and oversight of the Southside Behavioral Health Consortium (SBHC) State-funded regional projects as
directed by the Consortium leadership; attends SBHC meetings to report and receive direction on project planning
and development issues and to participate in problem-solving; prepares utilization, fiscal, and monitoring reports on
regional initiatives/activities, including Regional Discharge Assistance Plan (RDAP), Local Inpatient Purchase of
Service (LIPOS), crisis funds, regional crisis stabilization, recovery funds, and any other regional initiatives or special
projects; collects, organizes, and presents data in a manner that promotes understanding of key trends and issues;

participates in State level workgroups on Restructuring and Reinvestment; performs utilization management for
regional discharge assistance (DAP) and LIPOS funds in tandem with local Community Services Board (CSB) staff;

management teams, and RUM Committee; participates in problem-solving discussion; reports and receives
information for SBHC; prepares meeting minutes; develops and implements a regional monitoring and tracking
