The Peer Support Specialist functions as a fully integrated member of the treatment team to provide expertise about the recovery process, symptom management, and the persistence required by individuals to have a satisfying life. A Bachelor’s degree and one year experience or RN degree with one year of experience is required as this position must meet the qualifications for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
